  4. Wow, very creative. I'm not sure what my attempts to create something like that would look like, but most likely not that polished! Great pic.

    1. I have always meant to make something like this for teachers - but never normally get round to it in time - this year however we had been sent some Hama beads to review and I was looking through beadmerrilys site here: http://www.beadmerrily.co.uk/ and saw they had made a bigger version of a box and I thought ohh yes the kids could do that for teachers

  11. Very cute. I think that my niece made me a drinks coaster (she knows me so well) out of something similar. Is it a kind of bead-melt?

    1. yes Hama beads, they are an all time classic toy - keep every child I have ever known occupied for ages, even my 10 year old sons friends ASK to make designs with them!

  12. Lovely personalised gift idea! We gave up using Hama Beads after Ella had made a really elaborate pirate ship design and Kizzy, who was a toddler at the time, grabbed it and hundreds of beads fell to the floor! The tears were all too much!! hehe xxx

    1. heh I have had that happen several times in the past when Mikey was younger - now hes actually very good even with the small beads, you just need to wait maybe a couple more years until Freddy is old enough to not spill them!
