To Jake
You're Thirteen today Jake. Thirteen seems like such a big number, it seems so many years ago that you were just a little baby, and now look at you.
I'm so proud to be your mum Jake, you are such a caring brother, friend and son. I know you don't find things that easy sometimes but you do keep trying and that's good enough for me, always stay happy and follow the path you want too, stay true to yourself and the things you know are right and you will never go far wrong.
I love you x

Kisses
With everyone back at school my time has been a bit limited, fitting everything in is a constant juggling act.
So just a quick post of a video from just over a week ago, Mikey giving Noah kisses :)

The First Month
4th January 2015 a month since Noah was born, 4 and a half weeks, 31 days, how very quickly that time has passed!
Becoming a parent of a newborn, be it for the first time or by adding to your family is an exciting time, and the days fly by so fast, without recording the memories somewhere it is all too easy to look back on the first moments in a blurry haze, yet so much changes in those first days, weeks and months its one of the most important times in life to try to capture the memories.
I seem to have missed writing anything down about how things have changed around here, and if I don't write my birth story or the recording of those first few days and weeks since bringing Noah home then I may forgot these times and only be able to look back on the newborn days in a blurry baby daze.
So over the next few days I will hopefully be writing up the pre birth, birth and early days posts :)

Gingerbread Men
I'm not very good at baking, I don't enjoy it, it tends to just be a mess making exercise which often doesn't produce anything edible! But that said it is occasionally nice to give it ago.
Today was a rainy day, so with thanks to a Christmas gift Chloe made some gingerbread men.
The kit came with everything she needed, except a bit of butter and water, which really helped keep mess to a minimum and the biscuits actually tasted pretty good at the end, although the decorating didn't really work out brilliantly - more practise may be needed for the icing, but baking kits seem to be the way forward.

Coughs, Cold and Christmas Decorations
Not to break tradition, the Christmas holidays see us all nursing stuffy noses and sore throats, coughs and colds. So we are staying inside where its warm, enjoying the Christmas decorations before we take them down this weekend and return to some what normality as the daily routine of school runs returns next week.

Happy New Year
A new Year - A new start.
I'm not very good with new starts, commitments or resolutions.
In fact any time I aim to start something new and outwardly commit to it, its a sure fire way to ensure I give up pronto.
However I really wanted to start a new blog, I've been meaning to for several months, I really want to get back into taking and storing my photos somewhere, recording todays moments that so quickly become tomorrows memories, so here I am.
I am not going to list off a set of things I will do this year, nor am I going to commit to posting here daily, but here I am, a new year - a new start, lets see where 2015 takes us.
