Sticky Situations!

We were sent a Melissa and Doug Jumbo Sticker pad to review as part of the Toys R us Toyologist Program.

This is a wonderful sticker collection with 10 pages bursting full of stickers, the collection we received was the 'blue' book which contained pages of pirates, knights and dragons, creepy crawlers trucks and cars to name a few.

Children love stickers, but its always fairly difficult to know exactly what they should do with them, we set about making stories with ours, folding a pieces of paper into 6 squares and used the stickers to illustrate our comic style stories, which kept all three of mine happy for hours. and we still have several sheets unused for another sticker comic making session.

The great thing about these stickers is that they peeled really well, but to make it 100% fool proof for the children I peeled the outside away from the sheet first so they only had to peel off the sticker they required.

There is so many stickers in this Jumbo set and although it is aimed at 'boys' my daughter found plenty of stickers to occupy her with a page of zoo animals
.

The lovely bright colours and beautifully designed pictures are a great talking point, even for young children who may well have little thought behind the placement of stickers this would still be a great social interaction tool as you can talk about the things on every page. Older children will appreciate the large selection of stickers and this collection is sure to ignite their imaginations.

Priced at £4.99  I think this is great value as the amount and quality of stickers you receive is huge.
a sure winner and perfect gift this Christmas. These Sticker pads would also make wonderful School friend Birthday Present ideas. You can find them in your Local Toys R us store.

Be sure to check out the whole Melissa and Doug range, we loved the Dinosaur stamps review found here and the Triangular Crayons and colouring pad review found here
